Meet Tenly

Tenly Kuhn is an NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field All-American pole vaulter at Baylor University and one of the top competitors in the Big 12 Conference. A senior studying accounting, she has quickly established herself as a standout collegiate athlete, clearing 4.51 meters at the Alumni Muster at Texas A&M in 2025 and finishing 7th at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Most recently, she placed 2nd at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in February 2026.

Alongside competing at the highest level of collegiate athletics, Tenly has built a creator platform where she shares training insights, competition experiences, and the realities of life as a Division I student-athlete. Through her platform, Tenly has partnered with brands including Vuori, LMNT, Honey Stinger, and Comfrt, creating collaborations rooted in performance, wellness, and authenticity.

Before pole vault, Tenly spent years competing in gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling, qualifying for Nationals three times. Chronic back injuries eventually forced her to step away from the sport, but the transition ultimately led her to track and field, where her gymnastics background translated naturally to pole vault.

Her journey has not been linear. After navigating injuries, anxiety, and the pressures that often come with high-performance sport, Tenly has become an advocate for mental health in athletics and for honest conversations about resilience and identity among student-athletes.

At Baylor, she is also involved in the Women in Business organization and enjoys connecting with other students who share a passion for leadership, discipline, and personal growth. Guided by her Christian faith and inspired by her father’s encouragement, Tenly approaches both competition and life with a commitment to perseverance, growth, and excellence.
